Day 9 – when work gets in the way…
Well today is one of those days where I am needed to stay at work late and won’t be able to make it into the gym. Tonight we have a presentation for parents at 7:00pm which makes it smack in the middle of training times. I can’t go earlier because I would never make it back by 7pm and I can’t leave after because it is too late to make it since I have a 7:30am meeting tomorrow morning I need to be in bed at a decent time. So, I am left to my own devices and have opted do my own training here at school this evening.
Here’s my plan…
1. 20-30 minute warm up run through the Chinese Gardens
2. Do some interval sprints as suggested by Alexis
3. Come back and use the weights in the weight room
4. Shower up and get ready to present to the parents
I am learning that this whole “making my healthy lunch” thing takes some time in the morning, so I am going to have to get up even earlier to start on this (or start doing this at night before). It is also VERY EXPENSIVE in Singapore!!! Holy Guacamole! My first week cost $220 just for fruit, veggies and a few other times and this week cost me $267 in groceries! And this is really just healthy food for little ol’ me! Where’s the President’s Choice Healthy items when you need it?
I am going to send Kelso to the wet market for fruit and veggies from now on… ridiculous!
